Unsettled is hiring a Performance Marketer to lead and execute our Facebook, Instagram, and Google customer acquisition and content publishing efforts.

POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
Unsettled is searching for a thorough and data-driven candidate who will creatively develop and acquire new audiences for Unsettled on Facebook, Instagram, and Google. You are customer-development driven, always thinking and working on identifying, attracting, and acquiring new customers for Unsettled’s experiences.
You have 3-5+ years and a strong track record of achieving the following through Facebook, Instagram, and Google:
• High-quality lead generation. Unsettled is an application process for an experience, not a high-volume e-commerce product with audiences that can run on autopilot. The marketing and lead generation process is closely linked and responsive to our application and admissions process. • Strategic and creative audience development, especially for a global and diverse target market covering 70 countries across North America: Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and the Middle East. Your ability to think globally about audience development will be critical to your success.• Strong data analysis to self-report and think critically about key metrics that indicate the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. Experience to include social campaign A/B testing, audience profiling, email marketing, SEO, AdWords, Google Analytics, landing page optimization and sales funnel integration.• An understanding of not only the key platforms (FB, IG, and Google), but also the ability to structure and manage multiple digital tools and assets across the Unsettled website to better convert and track customers.• A strong understanding for how to use copy, photos, videos, and other creative most effectively on each platform. • Ability to analyze and recommend new platforms. Self-starter who will be able to define how to work on these platforms, create and execute a trail evaluation plans, and access a go-forward commitment and program.
• Setting up and managing complex, highly tiered/structured global Facebook, Instagram, and Google marketing campaigns. • Daily monitoring and optimizing all performance-media campaigns, with special attention to the results by analyzing our quality leads from geographic, behavioral, interest, and other targeting. • Highly detailed daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of marketing campaigns and KPIs.• Work in conjunction with team members across content-creation, admissions, technical marketing/systems and product development.• Evaluate, recommend, test and manage new platforms to reaching audience segments.
• 3-5+ years in direct social media marketing and advertising (not social media management).• Demonstrated proof of your ability to analyze marketing data and adapting campaigns.• Work experience that relates to the Unsettled lifestyle, values, and philosophy; the travel industry; or a similar global advertising strategies.• A demonstrated understanding of the Unsettled community and our experiences.• Native/fluent spoken and written English.• Ability to work remotely with your own equipment • Background in marketing, data analytics or business management. MBA is a plus, not required.
